Arrests

Ronald Aguilar, 48, of Essex Street, was arrested for operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday.

Michelle Castillo, 27, of South Common Street, was arrested for three counts of assault and battery, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a police officer, and resisting arrest at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Amy Gould, 41 of Newhall Street, was arrested for destruction of property worth less than $1,200 and attempting to commit a crime at 10:37 p.m. Tuesday.

Stacy James, 49, of Willow Street was arrested for two counts of credit card larceny at 9:14 p.m. Tuesday.

Japhal Perez, 34, of Willow Street was arrested for disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, threat to commit a crime, felony breaking and entering at night, and larceny under $1,200.

Accidents

A report of a car striking a pole at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday at Pulaski and Gardner streets; at 8:09 a.m. Tuesday at 44 Bartholomew St. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 8:21 a.m. Tuesday at relocated Forest Street; at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday at Tesla Peabody, 210T Andover St.; at 12:13 p.m. Tuesday at Sullivan Tire & Auto Service, 175 Washington St.; at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday at Washington and Ayer streets.

Animal

A caller reported she is staying in a motel in Peabody and one of her ferrets had gone missing at 12:21 p.m. Tuesday at 144 Shore Drive. Police attempted to call the reporting party but the phone number she provided was no longer in service and she did not specify what motel she was staying in. 

Dispute

A caller reported their neighbor making loud banging noises, knocking over furniture at 4:43 p.m. Tuesday at 55 Sutton St. 

Suspicious

A be on the lookout was issued for a red sedan at 12:35 p.m. in the area of Northshore Mall, 210N Andover St. 

A caller reported a white male with a construction vest that says “DWALT” came to her door with a bucket asking for water at 3:52 p.m. Tuesday at Manomet Road and Bow Street. The man was last seen walking towards Bow Street, but officers could not locate anyone. 

Thefts

A caller reported his license plate was stolen and a different plate was attached at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday at 4 Myles Road. 

A report of fraud at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at 4 Northend St. 

SAUGUS

Disturbance

A 911 caller reported an argument between the owner of Nickys Pizza and a truck driver at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday at 361 Lincoln Ave. The argument appeared to be about a truck driving down a road that does not allow trucks. The caller told police she placed herself between the two men. Dispatched officers reported an issue with the placement of a sign on Hazel Street that the truck driver could not see.

Suspicious

A 911 caller reported hearing someone attempting to break into her home at 1:00 a.m. Tuesday at 21 Bow St. The caller did not see anyone but did hear a loud noise on the other side of the door. Dispatched officers checked the area around the home and the neighborhood but were unable to locate anyone. 

An employee at Verizon reported a disoriented female inside the store at 10:41 a.m. Tuesday at 723 Broadway. 

A caller reported her 90-year-old mother was approached by a door-to-door salesperson and it frightened her at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday at 22 Henry St. An officer conducted an area check but could not locate anyone. 

A caller reported a white Cadillac sedan driving around while a female in plaid pajamas and a hoodie was trying to get into the back of people’s houses at 7:37 a.m. Tuesday at Gates Road. A dispatched officer could not find the car or the female after conducting an area search. 

Theft

A report of a shoplifter at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday at Walmart, 770 Broadway. A trespass will be issued for the shoplifter for a period of two years. 

A caller reported her motel room was broken into while she was incarcerated at 9:02 p.m. Tuesday at James Motel, 1709 Broadway.
