SAUGUS — One person was taken to a hospital after they were stabbed at the Kowloon Restaurant, police said.
A spokesperson for Saugus police confirmed one person had been stabbed in the parking lot sometime after 9 p.m. Saturday. The person was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with firefighters aboard the ambulance, according to the union representing the town’s fire department.
It was not immediately clear what condition they were in or what precipitated the incident.
The stabbing marks the second violent incident at the iconic Route 1 landmark in less than two weeks, after a brawl on Thanksgiving eve. Four people were charged in the aftermath of the fight, including two 19-year-olds.
No further information was immediately available Saturday evening.
