Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has made the decision to sell Trevoh Chalobah in the next transfer window.
The Englishman made his breakthrough at Chelsea under former manager Thomas Tuchel. He was a key player under the German.
However, he has struggled to play regularly since Tuchel’s exit and Fabrizio Romano claims that he is counting his days at the club.
Chalobah is currently out of action after suffering a fresh injury setback, but Pochettino has made the decision to sell him this winter.
The versatile defender was on the radar of Bayern Munich last summer, but the German champions wanted him on loan with a buy clause.
Chelsea were not keen on the proposal and they tried to sell him to Nottingham Forest instead. Chalobah rejected the transfer.
Ahead of January, there will be fresh interest in signing him. Bayern could well return with a renewed proposal under Tuchel’s recommendation.
Aside from Chalobah, Tuchel was also determined to sign Fulham‘s Joao Palhinha last summer. Bayern could make a move for him too.
