Manchester United have identified three strikers for the January transfer window, according to The Mail.
The Red Devils signed Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta over the summer but he has yet to find his feet in the Premier League.
The 20-year-old has scored three goals in the Champions League group stage, but has looked a lost figure in the English top-flight.
As a result, the club are planning to invest on an experienced striker, who could aid the development of Hojlund for a few years.
The Mail claim that United are looking at Brentford‘s Ivan Toney as a potential candidate. He is also on the radar of Chelsea and Arsena.
Porto’s Mehdi Taremi is the other candidate on their radar while they are also exploring a possible deal for Napoli star Victor Osimhen.
From the three, Taremi is the most achievable target, considering his contract with Porto expires at the end of the current season.
Toney and Osimhen are open to departures, but they won’t come on the cheap. United may not afford them due to FFP issues this winter.
