LYNN — Latina Center MARIA and the Lynn Latino Leadership Coalition will hold their seventh College Fair on Saturday in the North Shore Community College gym.
The fair will feature more than 20 college-admission counselors, who will talk to students and their families about college applications, scholarships, financial aid, and any other questions they might have.
“In today’s rapidly evolving world, the significance of higher education for our youth cannot be overstated,” the invitation for the fair reads. “A college degree opens doors to a wide array of career opportunities.”
The invitation added that former Breed Middle School and St. Mary’s High School student Yocilin Solis, who is currently studying economics, politics, and ethics at Yale University, credits her further education to the college fair and urges all students to attend.
The fair will be held from 3 to 5:30 p.m.
