Chelsea have received a big financial boost with Lewis Hall set to join Newcastle United on a permanent basis this summer.
The left-back signed for the Magpies on loan last summer with an obligation to buy for £28 million if they finish higher than 15th in the Premier League.
Eddie Howe‘s side have managed to achieve the feat today. They registered a convincing 4-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur to move into 6th in the table.
The news will delight the Blues who need to recoup around £100 million before the end of June to balance their books for the financial year.
Aside from Hall, the club are contemplating the departures of club graduates Trevoh Chalobah, Armando Broja and Conor Gallagher this summer.
Gallagher has been brilliant under the guidance of manager Mauricio Pochettino, but the board are adamant that he needs to be sold.
Chelsea stand to receive pure profit from the sale of their graduates. Gallagher could be forced to head for the exit door as a result.
