Chelsea have been handed a boost in signing Brentford goalkeeper David Raya at the end of the campaign.
The Spaniard has already turned down two contract offers from the Bees and he is likely to push for a summer exit.
Chelsea are one of the clubs interested in landing him and the club have now been handed a boost by Raya himself.
Speaking to The Athletic, Raya confirmed that he has big ambitions and wants to be winning major trophies elsewhere.
He said: “I have big ambitions. I want to play in Europe and I want to fight to win a title. I want to fight to win a European title. I trust myself to be able to play in those types of games.”
Chelsea look likely to end up without any silverware this season, but they have an ambitious project for the future.
The owners have spent over £600m in the last two transfer windows and there could be more spending this summer.
A new goalkeeper and a striker will be their main priorities before next season. Raya could move to Stamford Bridge.
