Arsenal are keeping a close eye on Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres ahead of a potential summer move to sign him.
The Gunners are expected to land a marquee striker during the summer and they are keeping tabs on different options at the moment.
Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko are among targets and O Jogo claim that Gyokeres is another one of the radar.
The Swede has been a revelation since his move to the Portuguese top-flight from Championship side Coventry City next season.
The 25-year-old has netted a stunning 31 goals from just 34 games for Sporting. He has also chipped in with 11 assists for them.
His exceptional statistics have reportedly caught the eye of the Gunners. They are said to be impressed by his ability in the big games.
The Gunners recently watched him score in the 2-1 win over Benfica in the first leg of the Taca de Portugal at home this week.
Gyokeres has a €100m release clause in his contract, but Sporting are likely to accept a lesser fee when the transfer window reopens.
