Arsenal have been touted to make a surprise move for Paris Saint-Germain right-back Nordi Mukiele before the transfer deadline.
The Frenchman has seen limited minutes with the Ligue 1 champions this term and he was recently linked with a move to Bayern.
Bayern could not find a suitable agreement and they ended up landing Sacha Boey from Galatasaray on a permanent deal worth €30m.
It is now claimed by football.london that the Gunners have the opportunity to make a late loan move for the former Leipzig defender.
The Gunners had a keen interest in Mukiele during his time in the Bundesliga and it is suggested that an offer could be made.
Mukiele is predominantly a right-back, but he has also played from the left-back position for Les Parisiens under manager Luis Enrique.
His versatility could be a reason behind the Gunners interest but it is left to be seen whether PSG will accept a straight loan offer for him.
