Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann has confirmed that Arsenal star Kai Havertz will start up front against France tomorrow.
Havertz joined the Gunners from Chelsea last summer and he had a difficult start to the season where he struggled to find the net.
However, his form has improved over the course of the campaign and he has netted four goals in his last four league appearances.
The 24-year-old has recently found success leading the line and Nagelsmann is prepared to do the same versus Les Bleus on Saturday.
He said: “He has developed very well, he has a lot of recognition from the coach [Arteta] and the club [Arsenal].”
“I think very highly of him as a player and as a person. He will start against France up front, which he did six times for Arsenal.”
Havertz has quickly become one of the important players under Mikel Arteta. He has scored two winning goals against Brentford.
Overall, he has 12 goal contributions for the campaign and the fans will be hoping that he can keep up his form after the internationals.
