Arsenal and Manchester City could go head-to-head to land Fiorentina wonderkid Michael Kayode in the summer.
Kayode has established himself as one of the best right-backs in Serie A and he has been touted to secure a bigger club.
Arsenal were one of his admirers last summer and it is claimed that City have now joined the pursuit of the 19-year-old.
Fiorentina have no plans to sell him at the moment, but it is claimed that an offer of around €25m could test their resolve.
Arsenal have no need for a new right-back with the presence of Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu as well as Jurrien Timber.
It would be a huge surprise if they made an approach for Kayode, considering White and Tomiyasu are nearing new deals.
At City, there could be a possibility if Kyle Walker were to leave.
He was seriously interested in moving to Bayern Munich last summer, but ended up signing a new long-term deal at City.
