Ivory Coast international Amad Diallo could be set for a shock transfer move from Manchester United to Wolves in the January transfer window, as the Molineux outfit seek attacking reinforcements and Man Utd appear ready to deep the 21-year-old winger surplus to requirements. A season on loan at Sunderland last season gave Diallo the opportunities he has so much craved in the first-team, as he scored 13 goals in 37 league games for the Black Cats.
Wolves are hopeful that the 5 foot 8 winger will move to their club with the offer of regular first-team football and a potential permanent transfer away from United.
Diallo began his career with Italian side Atalanta in 2019, but arrived at the club in 2015 as just a 13-year-old boy after impressing in his home country.
United then opted to sign the winger for a fee of around 40 million euros. At United, Diallo has only played three times in the Premier League and has now decided to depart Old Trafford for more top flight experience.
It is understood that United would be willing to sell Diallo should a team match the club’s valuation of 20 million euros.
